Orchard Heights lies in the top ranked Northville Public School district. Each year the Northville Public Schools win top honors in academic competitions In fact, last year the High School Science Olympiad team won first place in the State of Michigan and once again competed on the national stage. On the National Merit Scholarship Program, Northville High School tied with an Ann Arbor High School for the largest number of semifinalists (78) in the State of Michigan (2019).

In addition to an outstanding high school, Northville operates 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 2 special education schools. Orchard Heights has a great park within walking distance called the Fish Hatchery.
